Institution Notes:

The University was established in 1964. The music department is housed in the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts. It collates the New Zealand Sonic Art CD Series of works by New Zealand electroacoustic composers. There are links with the University’s Department of Computer Science. A second campus is located in Tauranga.
