Master of Arts in Music. In performance, composition, African music, music education, music production and management, music theory and criticism, music technology. Doctor of Philosophy. In ethnomusicology.

Institution Notes:

The University was founded in 1961 and gained its current name and status in 1987. The music department organises a choir, a band and the University African Music and Dance Ensemble. All programs include a blend of African and Western music traditions. The music department issues the Nigerian Music Review journal and operates Ife Music Editions which publishes original compositions.
