It has three Divisions which concern music: • Performing Arts Academy, which promotes the arts of dance, music, drama, puppetry and allied popular arts. It offers classes on classical and semi-classical folk singing as well as instrumental music to children and interested persons. There is a fine collection of national songs. The Division organises the Children’s Arts Workshop, the National Puppet Theatre and the National Repertory Theatre. • Cultural Pact Implementation, which handles cultural exchanges with other countries. It organises cultural delegations in such areas as music and dance ensembles, theatre, puppetry, art exhibitions and cultural troupes. • National Performing Arts Group.
