Profesor Superior de Educación Musical. Studies include performance, choral conducting.
In 2009 the Ateneo Paraguayo (Athenæum of Paraguayo), a private cultural centre founded in 1883 and the Centro Anglo Paraguayo, founded in 1935 combined to create the Marguerite Wolff Conservatoire, named in honour of the British pianist who gave regular concerts in Paraguay over a period of 25 years. There are departments of music, speech, drama and visual arts. The institution offers programs for the very young, including Early Music Stimulation for children aged between ten months and three years, and Suzuki Method (piano, violin, guitar, cello, flute and recorder) for children from three to seven years. Pre-professional programs for children and young people follow on from the earlier programs. On completion the Pre-professional Certificate is awarded. The professional stage begins from age 14, lasting five years. The Conservatoire organises art exhibits, lectures and concerts.
