Institution Notes:

This private Catholic Vincentian university is owned and run by the Daughters of Charity. It was established in 1867 and is the oldest normal school for girls in the Philippines. It gained university status in 2001. The program is accredited by the Philippine Association of Accredited Schools, Colleges and Universities. There are attached pre-school, elementary and secondary schools with general classes as well as special vocal and instrumental music classes for the gifted.
