Institution Notes:
The Academy of Music ’Felix Nowowiejski’ in Bydgoszcz (Akademia Muzyczna im Feliksa Nowowiejskiego’) was established in 1979 and is regarded as being of university level. It has four campuses scattered around the City of Bydgoszcz, housing several fine performance spaces and a well-equipped audio-processing studio. The sound engineering program is run under the auspices of the Polish Film Institute. A number of inter-faculty programs are offered. The Academy organises a program of Musical Mornings for children and other programs for interested members of the community. There is an Academy Publishing House. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
