Some 80 student instrumentalists form the Metropolitana Academic Orchestra. It is regarded as being of university-level training. Students in this training group participate in around 23 chamber music groups as well. • the Metropolitan Music Conservatory which offers music training to young children from age 3 to interested youth and members of the local community. There are programs for orchestral performers, orchestral conductors and pianists involved in chamber music and accompaniment. The Academy organises annual master classes and workshops.
