Institution Notes:
A provincial conservatorio within the province of Buenos Aires, founded in 1951. It offers training courses for performers and music teachers. There is a centre for early music (Centro de Música Antigua 'Carlo Gesualdo') which offers masterclasses, courses and concerts. Community activities include a children’s choir, a youth choir and an adult choir as well as programs in music training for interested children and adults in the local community.
