Institution Notes:
A private institution, founded in 1982, located in the greater Santiago area of Providencia. An agreement with the Finis Terrae University allows students in the jazz/popular music performance and composition streams to continue studies at the University to obtain the degree of Bachelor of Education as well as the professional title of Profesor en Artes Musicales. Several programs are available by distance mode. Pre-professional courses in jazz performance and music theory are offered at the Institute's Musical High School. There are links with the Latin American Association of Music Schools, 'Alaemus' of which it is a founding member and with Berklee College of Music (USA).
