Training programs are offered, based on the traditional music and dance of the Seychelles.
Institution Notes:
Founded in 1997, the National Conservatoire of Performing Arts (NCPA) is the only institution in the Seychelles to offer training programs in dance, music and drama to people of all ages. Students are encouraged to enter for examinations of international bodies such as the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in the UK and others. The Conservatoire operates under the Ministry for Youth, Sports & Culture. The Seychelles National Arts Council in Mahé is the supreme body for coordinating the arts at all levels for all persons in the Seychelles.
