Institution Notes:

A private Christian Presbyterian university founded in 1954 as Keimyung Christian College. It gained its current name and status in 1978. There is a strong focus on interdisciplinary studies related to art and the media and a Film and Music Production Department has been recently created. Facilities include a state-of-the-art multimedia studio, a sound recording studio, a film editing room and a computer/MIDI studio. The College has opened a music museum. The Keimyung-Chopin Academy was established in 1999 and invites professors from the Fryderyk Chopin University in Poland to take courses, workshops and master classes. An associate member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
