Institution Notes:
The Conservatorio was founded in 1956 as the Municipal Academy of Music of Pamplona. After a number of name changes, from 2005 it was divided into two distinct sections: a) Conservatorio Superior de Música 'Pablo Sarasate', and b) Conservatorio Profesional Music 'Pablo Sarasate', in Ezpeleta Palace, Calle Mayor, both occupying the same building in the complex called the 'City of Music' ('Ciudad de la Música') . An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
