Institution Notes:
The University has existed in its current form since 1974 following the merger of Loyola College and Sir George Williams University. The Oscar Peterson Concert Hall is a fine performing venue, and has an associated well-equipped recording studio. There is collaboration with other departments in the Faculty of Fine Arts, in the areas of contemporary dance, theatre, film, animation and performance. A Centre for Digital Arts provides facilities and services for digital arts in various areas of study. English is the main language of instruction.
