Individual and group programs in performance (saxophone, piano, keyboards, flute, violin, guitar, bass, percussion, voice), theory (rhythm, harmony, arrangement, analysis), songwriting, ensemble. There are regular workshops.
Institution Notes:
Previously known as 'SERPENT, the Rock-Pop-Jazz School for Women', this school is a non-profit organisation which offers training for women in all aspects of jazz, pop and rock music. An interesting article about this group entitled 'The Serpent Women of Switzerland' by Nicole Soland is published in the Journal of the International Society for Music Education (2000) (No 35, pp 12-14).
