Details:
Studies in classical, jazz or contemporary performance for young people from the age of 7 up to adults. Completion of all steps of the program leads to the award of a certificate.
Institution Notes:
The former Conservatoire of Montreux, the École de Jazz of Montreux and the Conservatoire de Musique de Vevey were formally amalgamated on January 1, 2002 to form the Conservatoire de Musique, École de Jazz de Montreux-Vevey-Riviera (CMVR). The Conservatoire offers a classical music program, the School providing jazz programs. There are campuses in Montreux and Vevey. The non-professional programs offer classical and jazz tuition to young children (both Edgar Willems and Dalcroze eurhythmics programs) and interested adults, successful completion of which earns a Certificate.
