Institution Notes:

The University can trace its history back to 1924. Its new Taiwan campus was established in 1980. The bachelor’s degree program in music was established in 1989, the master’s program in 1994. There is an Institute of Arts Management with studies in cultural administration, staging of exhibitions and performance management. The music department has several fine performance spaces and holds a collection of early Western instruments.
