Details:
Bachelor of Arts in Music. Three or four years. Studies include performance (classical, jazz), music history, theory, music technology. May be taken concurrently with the Bachelor of Education. An elective in music therapy is offered. Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours. A combination of studies in theatre arts, music, film and music education.
Institution Notes:
Laurentian University, an independent institution, was founded in 1960, though it can trace its history back to 1913. This is a bilingual campus, situated in the beautiful lake-filled Laurentian Conservation Area, offering courses in both English and French languages. Music degrees are available only in English. Many scholarships and bursaries are available to music students.
