Institution Notes:
The Academy was originally founded in 1913 as the ‘P I Tchaikovsky’ Conservatory of Music. It gained its current name and status in 1995. There are eight departments: piano, orchestral instruments, conducting, voice, music history and theory, composition, music education and pedagogy, and direction of musical theatre. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
