Institution Notes:

The Centre can trace its history back to 1959. The library holds a collection of material on music therapy as well as documentation of the work of the founders. The Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy organisation employs over 40 music therapists and provides music therapy sessions for children and adults with a wide range of needs. It also organises short courses and workshops for anyone interested in learning more about music and well-being. There are several regional centres in England and Scotland. All music therapists are registered with the Health Professions Council. The degrees are validated by Goldsmiths, University of London.
