Details:
Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Music. Three years. Music studies include popular performance, improvisation, composition, songwriting, musical theatre, entertainment management, music production, sound engineering.
Institution Notes:
The Institute opened in 1996. It is committed to multi-disciplinary programs. Apart from training performers in a number of disciplines it also trains those who will occupy support roles in making performances possible. Studies include such areas as design, production, management, marketing, media. The Institute offers Saturday performing arts classes for 4 to 19 year olds and an extensive range of part-time and full-time courses and training projects. It organises public productions of music, theatre and dance. Facilities are state-of-the-art in all areas. Qualifications are validated by the Liverpool John Moores University.
