Singing program: • Basic Cycle: Two years. Age limit: women 16 to 28, men 18 to 30. • Second Cycle: Two years. Advanced study of operatic roles or chamber singing interpretation. Age limit: women 18 to 30, men 18 to 32. Studies include aural skills, music history, languages, repertoire.
Institution Notes:
Since 1986 this school has been training students for opera, oratorio or chamber singing. It is run by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Tuition is free and age limits apply, though entry to the program is by audition only. There is a pre-tertiary program for those not yet ready to begin formal professional studies.
