Institution Notes:
The Hué Academy of Music was established as an independent institution in 2008, having formerly been the College of the Arts of Hué University. Its music programs are largely concerned with promoting traditional music and instruments from Vietnam, and it is active in promoting festivals and competitions for young musicians in the local community. In addition to these programs, there are courses for students at primary and intermediate schools both in Western instrument performance and traditional instrument performance.
