Bachelor of Music. This is a transfer program leading to the Bachelor of Music degree through the Thompson Rivers University - Open Learning. Studies include performance (classical, opera), composition, music history, orchestral conducting. To complete the degree several non-music courses are needed.

Artist Music Diploma. Two years. A post-graduate diploma for advanced performers. Music Performance Diploma. Four years. Available to high school graduates.
Institution Notes:
A non-profit music conservatory founded in 1969 by the Community Arts Council of Vancouver. The Academy has access to some fine performance spaces. There are two divisions: • Preparatory Division, for pre-school, school-age students and adults. The program includes performance training and master classes, with optional classes in Orff, Kodály, Suzuki, music history, theory, orchestra, chamber music, class piano, opera workshop and ballet. • College Division for students in the advanced music program. Taken at the S K Lee College of the Vancouver Academy of Music. The Academy organises an annual summer program.
