Institution Notes:
A United Methodist Church-related institution established in 1992, the first private international university in Zimbabwe. As the name implies, Africa University is a Pan-African university whose student body and staff come from a variety of African countries and other continents. As such it is a unique institution of higher learning on the African continent. There is close relationship between Africa University's music section and the Zimbabwe College of Music.
