Details:
Diploma in Professional Recording Arts. Studies in electronic music, multi-track recording and related skills, acoustics, audio engineering, computer technology, editing and mixing, production and project management, music theory, songwriting, music industry legalities and finances. Diploma in Professional Recording Arts (LIPA). Students who complete this program are eligible to apply to complete a Bachelor degree in the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in the United Kingdom.
Institution Notes:
Formerly known as the Art Institute of Vancouver, this institution was taken over by LaSalle College in 2017 and operates now as part of the international LCI Education network. There are extensive facilities, with studios equipped with state-of-the-art technology, a presentation theatre and a complete student resource centre. The College trains professionals for the audio, visual, computer graphic and multimedia production fields. All programs are supported with extensive laboratory/workshop experience. Students completing the Diploma program may apply to transfer to the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) in England to complete a Bachelor’s degree.
