Bachelor of Arts. Four years. Music major studies in performance, composition, music production, music education (with choral and instrumental conducting), music therapy. Studies include music history, theory, aural skills. Minor in music and worship arts.
Institution Notes:
A private university founded in 1891 as the Seattle Seminary and gained its current name and status in 1977. The university is related to the Free Methodist Church. The Department of Music is housed in the Crawford Music Building. It holds a collection of flutes of many styles and periods. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
