Institution Notes:
Founded in 1914 as the Cornish School, this institution gained its current name and status in 1986. The Cornish College of the Arts is a private non-profit performance and visual arts college with departments of music, dance, visual arts, theatre, design and performance production. The music department owns a Javanese gamelan.
