Institution Notes:
This liberal arts university college can trace its history back to 1693, making it the second oldest institution of higher learning in USA. Presumably designed by the English architect, the Sir Christopher Wren Building on campus is the oldest academic building in continuous use in USA. The music department owns a Javanese gamelan.
