Details:

Bachelor of Arts, Creativity and Culture. Three years. Studies include courses from visual arts, drama, English, languages and music.. Bachelor of Music. Four years. Studies include performance (classical, jazz), music history, theory, choral conducting, pedagogy, liturgical arts.


Institution Notes:

Formerly known as Augustana University College, this institution is a liberal arts and sciences university originally founded in 1911 by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. It became a faculty of the University of Alberta in 2004. There is a 450-seat University Chapel which serves as its primary concert venue. The attached Augustana Community Conservatory of Music offers programs for young people: Music with Children, Kindermusik, Keyboard Explorers. It also offers performance lessons for interested members of the community, including Suzuki recorder, Suzuki violin and Suzuki flute.
