The library houses special collections of past programs, opera libretti and scores, and books on the history of fashion and clothes. The courses for dancers consist of an eight-year program divided into two four-year cycles, open to young persons between ages 9 and 11 following a practical test. A further two-year post-graduate Curso de Perfeccionamiento is available to specially talented students. The Stage Director program consists of a three-year course averaging 21 hours per week for students aged between 22 and 40 years.
