Institution Notes:
A private Christian university affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas. Founded in 1845, this is the oldest continuously operating institution of higher learning in Texas and the largest Baptist University in the world. The music school is housed in Waco Hall and the McCrary Music Building with its fine performing spaces. There is a Center for Christian Music Studies and a Music Education Resource Center.
