This institution (English name: National Institute of Artistic and Cultural Training (INAFAC) can trace its history back to 1985. There are programs in music, visual arts and dance, with classes held in the evenings to allow access to the greatest number. Its École de Musique has been operating in its current form since 2016. Entrance to the communitmusic program is after six years of elementary school, though entry to the professional program follows completion of the secondary school program. The Institute arranges refresher courses in music, dance and fine arts for teachers.
