Institution Notes:
The Academy can trace its history back to 1904. After several name changes it gained its current name and status in 2006. Language of instruction is Bulgarian. There are three faculties: • Instrumental, • Vocal including an opera program, • Theory, Composition and Conducting. A Department of Light Music with a separate chair also offers a four year course. Facilities include two concert halls and a well-equipped recording studio.
