Institution Notes:
Anderson College was founded in 1848 as a college for women. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The College became co-educational in 1930, and gained its current name and status in 2006. The music department is housed in the Callie Stringer Rainey Fine Arts Center, with access to a number of fine performance spaces. The Johnny Mann Center for Commercial Music houses well-equipped music technology and electronic labs. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
