Institution Notes:
Eastern University was founded in 1925 as Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA. It gained its current name and status in 2001. In 2012 the music department opened a preparatory school of music which offers music tuition to children and interested members of the local community.
