Institution Notes:
A non-sectarian co-educational university of Baptist heritage. Founded in 1846 as the University of Lewisburg its name was changed to Bucknell University in 1886. Music facilities include the Weis Center for the Performing Arts, the Sigfried Weis Music Building and the Natalie Davis Rooke Recital Hall. There is a flourishing opera program. The music department owns a gamelan. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
