Institution Notes:
The University is affiliated with the Churches of Christ and can trace its history back to 1950. The music department is housed in the Fletcher Center for Music, and is an All-Steinway School with access to several fine performance spaces. The library houses the Oklahoma City Symphony Orchestra archive from 1937 to 1987, with recordings, programs, photographs, memorabilia. The Oklahoma Community Orchestra is the University’s orchestra-in-residence. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
