Details:
Bachelor of Science in Music. Four years. Concentrations in performance (classical, opera), music education, (with choral and instrumental conducting). Studies include music history, theory, aural skills.
Institution Notes:
The university was established in 1909 from the amalgamation of several teachers’ colleges in eastern Oklahoma. It is the flagship campus of the Oklahoma University system. The music department has access to a number of fine performance spaces in the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
