Institution Notes:
A co-educational Catholic university organised under the auspices of the Society of Mary (Marianists). It can trace its history back to 1850. There are strong programs in world music and jazz studies. Ensembles include the Ebony Heritage Singers, gospel choir, a world music choir, a Javanese gamelan and world percussion.
