Bachelor of Arts in Music. Four years. Concentrations in performance (classical, jazz, early instruments, opera), music history, theory, composition. Alexander Technique is offered.
Institution Notes:
A private non-sectarian liberal arts university founded in 1834. The music department is housed in the Scales Fine Arts Centre which also houses departments of art, dance and theatre arts. Facilities include some fine performance spaces, a well-equipped computer laboratory and a 48-bell carillon. The library holds a rich collection of books, scores and recordings of British and Italian music.
