Institution Notes:
An independent non-denominational liberal arts college founded in 1795, being the first college chartered by the Board of Regents of the State of New York. The music department became an All-Steinway School in 2007. It owns a Balinese gamelan. The Peter Irving Wold Center is the home of the Laboratory for Electrical Engineering and Music Research.
