Institution Notes:

This University was founded in 1889 as a teachers’ college. The Department of Music has access to several fine performance spaces and houses a well-equipped MIDI lab and audio technology studio. The State University of New York (SUNY) was founded in 1948 with the amalgamation of a number of universities and colleges throughout the State of New York, some of which can trace their history back to 1816.
