Bachelor of Arts. Four years. Concentrations in performance (classical, jazz), jazz studies, audio recording and production. Studies include music history, theory, aural skills. A minor in arts management.

The University was founded in 1861 as a teachers’ college and became one of the original members of the State University of New York at its founded in 1948. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music. The State University of New York (SUNY) was founded in 1948 with the amalgamation of a number of universities and colleges throughout the State of New York, some of which can trace their history back to 1816.
