Institution Notes:
A senior college of the City University of New York which can trace its history back to 1847. It gained its current name and status in 1966. The Department of Fine and Performing Arts is located in the Academic Core Building. Facilities include a state-of-the-art digital lab. The City University of New York (CUNY) was founded in 1961. It consists of 20 Colleges at which music is offered in eleven.
