Institution Notes:
A private liberal arts university that traces its history back to 1819, receiving its current name and status in 1890. The University is of Baptist heritage, but has been non-sectarian since 1928. The music department is housed in the Dana Arts Center and has access to several fine performing spaces as well as to a well-equipped digital music studio.
