Institution Notes:

Rutgers, with its three campuses – at Camden, New Brunswick and Newark - was chartered in 1766. At the Newark campus is the Institute of Jazz Studies which houses the world’s largest jazz archive. It publishes a journal and monographs, and holds such materials from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Benny Carter, Mary Lou Williams amongst others.
