Institution Notes:

A state-supported university founded in 1866 as the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts. It gained its current name and status in 1923. The Dimond Library contains the New Hampshire Library of Traditional Jazz Archive, with over 20,000 recordings and 1,000 books and is available for research and independent study projects. There is also a special collection relating to the composer Amy Cheney Beach. Member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
