An independent university founded in 1915. The Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts comprises departments of music, dance, art, design and art history and the conservatory of theatre arts. The music department is an All-Steinway School. There is a Webster University-Saint Louis Symphony Graduate Orchestral Performance Fellowship program in strings and conducting.
