Institution Notes:

An independent university founded in 1915. The Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts comprises departments of music, dance, art, design and art history and the conservatory of theatre arts. The music department is an All-Steinway School. There is a Webster University-Saint Louis Symphony Graduate Orchestral Performance Fellowship program in strings and conducting. Internships are available in the music industry with various St Louis firms. Summer courses are offered in Kodály method, Orff Schulwerk, and vocal, string and theory pedagogy.
