Profesor Superior en Música. Specialisation in performance (classical, jazz, folk song), composition, choral conducting, history of Bolivian music, history of Latin-American music, pedagogy and methodology of teaching.
Institution Notes:
The Conservatorio Plurinacional de Música (COPLUMU) comes under the control of the Vice-Ministry of Culture, and was founded in 1907. In 2013, after a number of industrial and political troubles with subsequent disruption to the continuity programs a new property was obtained resulting in the emergence of the Conservatorio Plurinacional de Música. It offers professional music courses as well as studies in single subjects, both performance and theoretical. Ensembles include a choir and various instrumental groups. The Japanese government has assisted in purchase of instruments. A junior department organises choral and instrumental programs for children from the age of seven. The Conservatory has published collections of Bolivian music.
