Bachelor of Arts in Music. Four years. Concentrations in performance (classical, music theatre), composition, jazz studies, recording arts, music ministry, music education (with choral and instrumental conducting). Studies include music history, form and analysis, theory, aural skills.
Institution Notes:
A co-educational Christian liberal arts college affiliated with the University Church of Christ and the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches. It was founded in 1844. The music department is housed in the Margaret Upton Conservatory of Music and offers programs in music, dance and theatre, enabling students to choose an interdisciplinary course. There is a state-of-the-art electronic music studio.
